THE BLACK FOREST CLUB

The Black Forest Club is a private residential and recreational community situated on 2000 acres of natural beauty, tucked away in the scenic Upper Delaware Valley.

  • 3 - 6 Acre Home Sites

    There are 150 lots in the Black Forest Club, ranging in size from 3 to 6 acres. Many owners have combined lots to make expansive home sites. Some of the lots have waterfront access along the Mill Brook, and others connect directly to the 1100 acres of private parkland.

    Black Forest Club is not tied to city services, so each home is supplied with delicious clear, well water. High-speeo Internet is available through both Frontier Communications and Time Warner Cable.

  • 1100 ACRES OF PRIVATE FOREST

    The founding families of the Black Forest Club had the unique foresight to create a land management program for which they set aside about half of their acquired land. To this day, it remains an incredibly unique asset. There are four huge private park areas comprising 1100 acres.

    Club members enjoy exclusive access to the beauty of Black Forest with its deep ravines, waterfalls, hiking trails, swimming holes, fishing, snowshoeing and waterfront access to the Delaware River.

  • Club House

    At the center of the Black Forest Club lies the Clubhouse, a turn-of-the-century hunting lodge that has been renovated into a charming, rustic, one-story cabin heated by a wood-burning stove in the winter. , It sports a big, beautiful, communal porch for member use in the summer months.

    The Clubhouse is also the heart of the Black Forest Club community. The Club hosts seasonal events all year long. From the award-winning Oktoberfest to the competitive Super Bowl party, it’s a great place for Club Members to get together.

    For a small fee, the Clubhouse is available to members for private events year-round.

Homes and Land For Sale

Every house in the forest has it’s own unique history and charm, and there a small number that hit the market and are available for purchase.

There are also 3-6 acre buildable lots, that are also potentially available for sale.

Members-Only Recreation

Within the gated forest preserve, you’ll find miles and miles of trails, which are great for hiking, biking, or ATVs.

Members have exclusive rights for hunting, fishing, and foraging within the common land.

 

Dating back to the early 1930’s as a German community, the Black Forest Club is now has a diverse blend of full-time residents and NYC weekenders.
